Functional and Beautiful
Although much of the studios work is for places of worship we have made many beautiful windows for secular buildings and our glass can be found in libraries, bathrooms, internal room screens, swimming pools, reception rooms and entrance lobbies. We supply and fit windows in coloured glass and decorative etched and engraved panels.
At Flowton Priory we installed 18 painted leaded glass windows to the historic Elizabethan building in medieval and heraldic styles to complement existing surviving windows. We have also produced windows in Art Deco style, Art Nouveau, Victorian and Macintosh, and based on modern artists Matisse, Klee and Mondrian.
Modern stained glass design can unify the different areas of a building or provide privacy to certain areas and create an ambience or mood. Contemporary leaded glass windows can even hide an unsightly view by using some of the many beautiful opalescent and opaque textured glasses available.
